The veneer hot press used in the furniture industry has a size that is basically suitable for the specifications of artificial boards (1220 × 2440mm), and the surface pressure is usually 0.2~0.4MPa, with a corresponding total pressure of 120t. In addition to the main technical parameters such as hot pressing plate size, total pressure, number of layers, and plate surface pressure, hot pressing machines also have other technical parameters such as opening and closing time, heating temperature, and productivity, which need to be determined according to different process requirements.

The working process of the hot press machine for veneer can be divided into five stages: closing, boosting, holding, unloading, and lowering. The host of the press can be divided into three main parts in terms of functional implementation: heating system (providing heat source), hydraulic system (providing pressure and controlling the action of the press), and press body (frame, control part).
