Hot press machine is the main equipment for producing plywood, and the production process will directly affect the quality of plywood. However, during the operation of the hot press machine, some problems are inevitable, such as low bonding strength or delamination. So today we will analyze the reasons and solutions for this problem. Reason: 1. It is possible that the quality of the adhesive is too poor. 2. It is possible that the amount of glue applied is not very sufficient or the glue applied is uneven. 3. The pressure provided by the hot press is insufficient or the temperature is too low, or the hot pressing time is too short. 4. The burrs and grooves on the veneer are too deep or the moisture content is too high. 5. The aging time is too long, causing the glue to dry out. Or the aging time is too short to form a continuous adhesive film.
Solution: Carefully check the quality of the adhesive and purchase high-quality adhesive; Pay attention to applying glue evenly and moderately; Properly increase the temperature and pressure of the hot press machine to extend the hot pressing time; Carefully control the aging time; Improve the quality of veneer rotary cutting; Pay attention to maintaining the veneer to ensure its moisture content is within the specified range. Secondly, there are indentations on the surface of the board. The reason for this phenomenon may indicate that the surface of the pad is uneven, and the hot press pad should be replaced in a timely manner; It is also possible that there are adhesive blocks or debris on the surface of the pad, as long as it is cleaned thoroughly. When the hot press machine is in operation, any problems that occur will affect the quality of the plywood, so when problems arise, it is necessary to make timely judgments and solve them correctly.
